Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,583 per week in Indianapolis, IN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must have valid state nursing license Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BCLS Must-Have: Experience in Level 1 Trauma Center, Skills in Care of Ventilated Patients, Intubation, Neuro, Ortho, Phase I PACU, Gyn, Plastics, Thoracic, Urology, and Pediatrics Description: A Registered Nurse is needed for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The candidate will be expected to work or take call during holidays that occur in their contract. Call requirements are 12-24 hours within a 6-week schedule. The average daily census is between 65-85 patients. Candidates must have experience in all surgical services, including neuro, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, urology, gynecology, plastics, and care of intubated pediatric patients. The unit is fast-paced and highly acute, receiving many critical care patients, especially in neurology. Candidates should be comfortable working in a large facility with diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Travelers are expected to float as necessary within the healthcare facility. Two supervisor references are required. Floating is required of all travelers within the facility.
