Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in a fast-paced Short Stay Unit (SSU) providing both pre-operative and post-operative patient care. Responsibilities include admitting patients, preparing them for surgery, initiating IVs, obtaining surgical and transfusion consents, completing physical assessments, reviewing laboratory results, administering pre-operative medications, and ensuring patients are ready for the operating room.

The RN will also monitor post-procedure patients, including catheterization lab observation cases, recognize and respond to complications such as hematomas, and provide safe, high-quality care throughout the perioperative process. Candidates should be able to work efficiently in a high-volume surgical environment.
