Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) – Minnesota

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Minnesota

Schedule: Travel assignment with every third weekend requirement; no call

Highlights:

• Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) position in a Level I Trauma facility
• Provide holistic nursing care across the lifespan, from pediatric through geriatric populations
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and care coordination
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Work in a dynamic environment with opportunities to interpret cardiac rhythms and apply advanced critical care skills
• Participate in shared governance and contribute to continuous improvement of nursing practice standards

Requirements:

• Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license (temporary license accepted if permanent license application is in process)
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience (ICU or Emergency Department)
• Previous PACU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC)
• Epic EMR proficiency
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms
• Experience caring for pediatric through geriatric patient populations
• Current skills checklist (within 1 year) specific to PACU
• Two supervisory references with employment dates
