Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,687 per week in Orange, CA

Job Title: PACU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Active California RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required Must-Have: Pediatric PACU experience and knowledge of inpatient/outpatient care guidelines Required to work both Pre-OP and PACU Description: PACU RN for a day shift with a variable start time between 05:30 and 07:30. Candidates must be available for two weekend shifts in a six-week schedule. They would need to take two to three on-call shifts during the same six-week schedule. Experience in managing pediatric patients is essential. Knowledge of trachs, vents, G-tubes, and home-vented children is preferred. The unit handles a high volume of patients, requiring effective management skills. Experience with phlebotomy is preferred. Candidates should be aware of and agreeable to the float requirements listed in the job description. The patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, and pediatrics. The daily census is approximately 70 patients. The facility accommodates various surgeries, excluding open hearts, NICU, and transplants. Support services include radiology and unit secretaries.
