Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,690 per week in San Francisco, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years PACU RN experience required, preferably in a high acute care hospital or ICU. License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - 2 years PACU RN experience - Valid California RN License - BLS (AHA) - ACLS - PALS - Cath Lab experience preferred Description: The registered nurse provides individualized nursing care based on knowledge of basic competencies in the fundamentals of peri-anesthesia nursing and pharmacology. This position serves geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients from admission through discharge. Knowledge of peri-anesthesia standards of care, airway management, nursing assessment parameters, and pharmacology is required. Candidates must understand medication doses, purposes, interactions, side effects, and reactions. Additional skills include management of ventilated patients, IV administration, and Emergency medications. Experience with various procedures such as central line care, cardioversion, and post-anesthesia care is essential. The role may require floating to other campuses if needed and based on census.
