Seven Healthcare is pleased to present an exciting travel opportunity for an experienced Travel Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This assignment offers a competitive weekly blended rate of $2,700, based on three 12-hour evening shifts per week. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow your perioperative nursing skills within a respected coastal community hospital.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel PACU RN:
  • Provide high-quality post-anesthesia recovery care to patients emerging from surgery
  • Perform rapid assessments, manage airway support, and monitor vital signs
  • Administer medications and manage pain, nausea, and postoperative symptoms
  • Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and OR staff
  • Educate patients and families on postoperative instructions
  • Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
  • Document all care accurately in the EMR

Requirements of the Travel PACU RN:
  • Active Massachusetts RN license (or ability to obtain)
  • BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
  • Strong assessment, airway management, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced recovery environment
