Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,712 per week in Ketchum, ID

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Perioperative Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 4x10 hour shifts, Start times between 6-8 AM with call Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: Must have experience in Phase 1 recovery, good general surgical recovery experience. Description: This unit operates with a total of 14 beds, including PACU bays and interchangeable bays for various preoperative and postoperative care. Travelers will be assigned to pre-op, PACU (Phase 1 and Phase 2), and endoscopy areas. We follow established guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios. Common cases include orthopedic procedures, general surgeries, gynecological surgeries, and some pediatric cases. Experience in the PACU is required, with a preference for candidates having two years of direct PACU experience. Candidates with one year of PACU experience and substantial inpatient nursing may be considered. First time travelers are welcome to apply. Knowledge of basic emergency procedures and ability to read cardiac strips is required. Call requirements include scheduled night call and weekend call on a rotation basis. Travelers must be within a 30-minute response time when on call. There are charge nurses available for support during shifts. The unit has support staff to assist with various duties. Travelers are expected to be adaptable to work in various assigned areas. Dress code includes provided scrubs. This facility enforces specific travel radius requirements.
