Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care - Travel- Utilize the nursing process for patient care, maintaining accurate and current patient records.
- Document patient assessments, including physical, psychological, social dimensions, and discharge plans.
- Perform the role of charge nurse proficiently.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Computerized Nursing Informatics.
- Serve as a resource for patient care, orientation, and staff teaching.
- Participate in staff meetings, mandatory programs, and professional development.
- Adhere to safety and blood/body fluid policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and consistently provide service excellence.
Requirements of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care - Travel- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support Certification
- ACLS and PALS Certifications
- Successful passage of CCH's Pharmacology exam and Basic Arrhythmia Program or challenge
- Skills in I.V. starts, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator care
- One year of recent experience in ICU/CVICU/CVPA/ER or SDC/PACU
- On-call availability for off-shift, weekends, and holidays
