Job Title: Pre-Op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse (PACU) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pre-Op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied start times, includes weekend coverage Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current licensure with the Board of Registered Nursing Certifications: Current BLS Must-Have: EPIC EMR experience Description: This is a Level II Trauma center position. The role includes responsibilities in both Pre-Op and Post-Op care for surgical patients. There may be occasional Pre-Op duties for GI patients. Scrubs will be provided for this position. This position will primarily focus on weekend coverage. Desired certifications include Certified Peri-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) and/or Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia (CAPA). Successful completion of prior travel assignments is also desired. Med/Surg and Critical Care RN positions will be required to float as needed. Holiday coverage is required.
