Position Overview

ATC Healthcare is seeking experienced Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurses (RNs) for per diem opportunities within Sentara Health facilities. This role offers flexible scheduling while providing exceptional care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical and procedural interventions. Ideal candidates are highly skilled in post-operative assessment, critical thinking, and rapid response to changes in patient condition.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience in an acute care hospital
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred or required based on facility assignment
• Strong assessment, airway management, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to varying patient populations and facility workflows

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Per diem / PRN shifts (day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday availability may vary)
