Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (11:00–23:30) | 36–48 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care for inpatient PACU patients at a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
• Perform pre- and post-procedure care for Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology patients
• Float within the PACU department to the Holding area as needed, with ratios up to 1:3–5 (equivalent to inpatient PCU assignment)
• Fulfill on-call requirements of 1–2 overnight call shifts per month within a 4-week schedule
• Complete one weekend shift per month as required
• Participate in required holiday coverage, working 2 out of 3 designated holiday bundles

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (pending licensure may be accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of PACU nursing experience
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Pre- and post-Cath Lab procedure experience required
• Pre- and post-Interventional Radiology procedure experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (RQI certifications not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience charting in Cerner
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with high-acuity inpatient environments including PCU-level care
