Key Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient or group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment
- Provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) nursing support during an Epic EMR conversion
- Accurately document patient care activities within Epic and maintain compliance with charting requirements
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification
- Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months
- Cerner EMR experience within the last 5 years
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
- Pre-operative nursing experience
