Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural sedation
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Epic EMR
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Participate in holiday coverage, with a requirement to work 1–2 of 3 designated summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN State License required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of PACU or relevant clinical experience required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• PALS certification (AHA) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (verified by driver's license)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least one prior travel nursing contract completed
• Illinois RN licensure (or willingness to apply upon offer)
• Experience working in a trauma center environment
