Travel Registered Nurse – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM | 5x8-hour shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to patients in a 24-bed PACU unit at a 2:1 patient ratio
Monitor and assess patients recovering from orthopedic, neurological, general, and pediatric surgical procedures
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and timely patient transitions through the recovery process
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
Respond to changes in patient condition and implement appropriate nursing interventions in a fast-paced recovery environment
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2–3 years of PACU experience required
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
Proficiency with Epic EMR
Professional, team-oriented approach with a passion for patient care
Preferred Experience / Skills
Critical care background or experience
Experience with diverse surgical patient populations including orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric cases
