PACU RN - Day/Night Rotating

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 36 Hours per Week | Day/Night Rotating Shift | Up to 2 Weekend Shifts per Month
Key Responsibilities- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
- Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and neurological status in the immediate post-operative period
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient transitions
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate clinical interventions
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience
- Minimum of 1 year of travel PACU experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Academic Medical Center setting
- Ability to work a 50% day/night rotating schedule including weekend shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills- CPAN or CAPA certification
- Experience with high-acuity or complex surgical patient populations
