Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs, airway status, and neurological function in the immediate post-operative period
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered to manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safe patient transitions and handoffs
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience
• Minimum of 1 year of PACU experience in a travel nursing capacity
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Academic Medical Center setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in high-acuity or complex surgical environments
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills in fast-paced clinical settings
