Contract | 36 Hours per Week | Monday–Thursday Nights
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, airway status, and neurological function in the immediate post-operative period
- Administer medications and interventions as ordered to manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms
- Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safe patient transitions and handoffs
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience
- Minimum of 1 year of PACU experience in a travel nursing capacity
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Academic Medical Center setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in high-acuity or complex surgical environments
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills in fast-paced clinical settings
