Key Responsibilities- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in a 16-bed PACU unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Monitor and manage patients using bedside monitors and arterial lines (a-lines)
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Participate in call rotations as part of the scheduling requirements
- Support anesthesia-led procedures including intubations as needed
- Uphold patient experience standards in accordance with OAS CAHPS requirements
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1–2 years of ICU or PACU experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Proficiency with ICU-level skill set including bedside monitoring and a-lines
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with call rotation; no floating required
- Navy blue scrubs required as unit dress code
Preferred Experience / Skills- CCRN or CAPA certification preferred
- Prior experience working in a PACU environment without unit secretaries or techs (RN-only staffing model)
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
