TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Columbia, South Carolina, 29204!

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM | One required late shift per week (late nurse remains on unit until last OR case is completed and recovered; call-back pay applies from 6:00 PM until departure) | On-call required: one call night per week and one call weekend every six weeks
Key Responsibilities
Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgical procedures in a PACU setting
Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, delivering individualized, high-quality patient care
Participate in required late shifts, remaining on the unit until the last OR case is completed and the patient is recovered
Fulfill on-call obligations including one call night per week and one call weekend every six weeks
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
Required Qualifications
Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license
Minimum of 2 years of PACU or relevant nursing experience
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
Preferred Experience / Skills
Critical Care training or background
Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
