Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis in a PACU or Pre-Op setting
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to care and adjust nursing interventions accordingly
• Supervise clinical staff and delegate appropriate patient care tasks as needed
• Support facility nursing leadership in maintaining high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care standards
• Contribute to competency evaluation of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing — must be valid in the state of South Dakota or through a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Clinical experience in PACU or Pre-Op nursing
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage post-operative or pre-operative patient populations
• Ability to supervise and delegate care to clinical staff effectively

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an ambulatory surgery center or outpatient surgical environment
• Familiarity with quality and safety initiatives in a surgical care setting
• Experience supporting or collaborating with nursing leadership on resource and competency management
