Job Title: Registered Nurse – PACU
Must be 65 miles from facility

Overview:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in a dynamic critical care environment, where your expertise directly impacts patient outcomes through compassionate, high-quality care. As a pivotal member of the healthcare team, you will lead and coordinate patient care activities, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and fostering a culturally sensitive approach. This role offers an opportunity to apply your leadership skills and clinical proficiency in a rewarding setting dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement.

Pay: $2,240 Weekly
Shift: 7am - 3:30pm

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience in a hospital or similar setting
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for clear professional interaction
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities
  • Ability to assess patient learning needs and implement appropriate educational strategies
  • Demonstrated leadership in delegating and managing multidisciplinary team resources
  • Knowledge of current federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and clinical best practices
  • Ability to adapt communication and care approaches for diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Certification in a clinical specialty area (e.g., Critical Care, Nephrology)

Other Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to perform heavy physical tasks, including exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 25 pounds frequently
  • Experience working with patients in critical or acute care settings
  • Must be able to work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially infectious materials
  • Must adhere to safety protocols and occupational health standards, including proper handling of hazardous materials
