Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for a diverse surgical patient population including ENT, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Podiatry, GI, Pain Management, Urology, GYN, Cataracts, and Pediatrics (patients typically 2 years of age and older)
• Monitor and manage recovery for non-intubated ICU patients in the PACU prior to return to the ICU
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care within a 6-bed PACU at a 50-bed rural Level III Trauma Center
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure smooth patient transitions and optimal recovery outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Current Washington State RN Licensure
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience in a Level III Trauma Center
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Ability to care for a broad surgical patient population including pediatric patients (generally 2 years and older)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience in a rural or community hospital setting
• Familiarity with multi-specialty surgical service lines including orthopedics, urology, GYN, and GI
