    RN - PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

    Contract | Days | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation
    • Monitor and assess patient vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness during the recovery phase
    • Administer medications and interventions as ordered to manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms
    • Communicate effectively with surgical and anesthesia teams regarding patient status and care transitions
    • Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington or compact eligibility
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Prior experience in a PACU, critical care, or post-operative nursing setting
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • CPAN (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse) certification
    • Experience with a diverse patient population across multiple surgical specialties
