Key Responsibilities- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness in the immediate post-operative period
- Manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Participate in on-call coverage, including weekday call (1900–0500) and weekend call (0500–0500); nurses are not required to be on-site if no cases are scheduled
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions and handoffs
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Prior PACU or post-anesthesia care nursing experience
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation including weekday and weekend call shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in an ambulatory surgery or outpatient surgical setting
- Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties and anesthesia recovery protocols
