Key Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver nursing care to telemetry and post-operative patients
• Maintain the standards of professional nursing practice throughout all patient interactions
• Monitor cardiac drips, read telemetry monitors, and manage post-surgical cases
• Provide care to adult and geriatric patient populations
• Supervise CNAs, SNAs, and other assigned healthcare support staff
• Collaborate with certified monitor technicians overseeing remote telemetry monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience
• Stepdown unit experience required
• Experience reading monitors, managing cardiac drips, and handling post-surgical cases
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Active Illinois RN License required at time of submission
• BLS/CPR (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Background in a high-acuity or trauma-level facility environment
• Familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring workflows
