Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

• Monitor patient recovery from anesthesia
• Assess vital signs and manage pain levels
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Provide patient and family education about post-operative care
• Collaborate with surgical and healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Requirements of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

• Active RN license in the state of Louisiana
• CPR and ACLS certifications
• Experience in PACU or similar recovery settings
