Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM) with On-Call Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care for adult and pediatric patient populations in a Level I Trauma setting
• Fulfill on-call obligations including 2 weekday on-call shifts per 6-week schedule, 1 weekend 12-hour on-call shift per 6-week schedule, and 1 summer and 1 winter holiday on-call shift
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner Aceis Surgi Net charting system
• Float as needed to GI or pain center units when operationally required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient transitions from surgical to recovery care

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid RN state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care or PACU
• Level I Trauma experience and ICU background required
• Active TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
• Active PALS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in SICU, MICU, or CTICU settings
• Familiarity with Cerner Aceis Surgi Net electronic health record system
• Comfort working with both adult and pediatric patient populations
