Travel RN – PACU (13-Week Contract)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days with rotating weekends and on-call | Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Provide post-anesthesia care for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to adult, including cases such as lumpectomies, tonsillectomies, tube placements, and open-heart surgery, as well as trauma cases
Monitor patients using GE patient monitors and document care using the Expanse EMR system
Maintain patient ratios in accordance with CPAN Guidelines
Participate in on-call rotation, including a 30-minute response requirement — arriving dressed and ready to accept patients in the PACU
Float to Endoscopy or Same Day Care units as needed
Collaborate with a team of RNs and support staff to ensure safe, patient-focused care across a 10-bay unit
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire — required at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
PACU and PACU pediatric experience at a Level II facility or higher — candidates without this experience will not be considered
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Ability to participate in on-call rotation including once-weekly call Monday through Thursday, one Friday every five weeks, and two 24-hour weekend shifts in a five-week schedule
