Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op in San Francisco, CA

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical procedures
• Apply airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management skills in a fast-paced PACU environment
• Work across preoperative and extended care units as needed
• Float to other affiliated facilities within the health system as required and based on qualifications
• Complete non-billable orientation modules prior to start and annually as required

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 5 years of total RN experience
• Minimum 3 years of PACU-specific experience
• Teaching hospital experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN or CPAN certification
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
