Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation
• Assess and manage patient pain, airway, vital signs, and level of consciousness in the PACU setting
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers and surgical teams to ensure safe patient transitions and handoffs
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the department

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Prior travel nursing experience in a PACU or perioperative setting
