Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients across a range of acuity levels, from outpatient to ICU-level
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
- Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records system
- Adhere to patient ratios and facility protocols throughout each shift
- Participate in on-call requirements as determined by the scheduling period
Required Qualifications
- Valid Arizona RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
- Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
- Telemetry skills required
- Must be comfortable managing ICU-level patients or willing to learn
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with pediatric recovery patients
- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers will not be considered
