PACU Registered Nurse
LocationWesterville, OH
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 0530–1600, 4 shifts per week plus call availability; on-call shifts available Monday through Friday as well as weekends
Key Responsibilities- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation
- Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness in the PACU setting
- Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safe and timely patient transitions
- Respond to and manage post-operative complications as they arise
- Participate in on-call shifts as scheduled, including availability for Monday through Friday and weekend call
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Prior PACU or post-anesthesia care nursing experience
- Ability to work a day shift schedule including on-call responsibilities
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a high-volume surgical or procedural environment
- Familiarity with a wide range of surgical specialties and anesthesia types
