Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced recovery unit supporting post-operative patients across multiple surgical specialties. This role involves monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia and ensuring safe, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in Phase I PACU
- Monitor patient recovery, vital signs, and airway status
- Administer medications and manage pain control
- Assist with extubation and respiratory support as needed
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols
