ASU/PACU Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13-Week Assignment) | Full-Time | Days | 36 hours per week | 4 x 9-hour shifts | Weekend call rotation included

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care to patients in the ASU/PACU setting
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Participate in weekend call rotation as scheduled
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ASU/PACU or Critical Care unit
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a fast-paced surgical or perioperative environment
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in post-anesthesia care
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic clinical setting
