Registered Nurse (RN) - Postpartum

Unit Description

Join a dynamic team in the Postpartum unit where compassion and expertise come together to provide exceptional care to new mothers and their infants. This role requires a commitment to high standards of nursing practice in a supportive environment.

Schedule

• 3x12 hour shifts with day/night rotation
• Every other weekend required
• Start date options: November 2 or November 16 (November 2 preferred)

Qualifications

• Current RN license and certification in the state of practice
• Previous experience in postpartum nursing preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Role Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor the health and wellbeing of postpartum patients
• Provide education and support to new mothers regarding infant care and breastfeeding
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
