Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery/Post-Partum RN to provide care to mothers and newborns following delivery in an acute care setting.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience in maternal and newborn health, post-partum care, and C-section cases.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to mothers and newborns following delivery.
Monitor maternal and newborn health and assess patient conditions.
Provide post-partum care and support recovery following delivery.
Assist with care related to C-section deliveries.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote safe patient outcomes.
Float to the Mother-Baby unit as needed.
Requirements
Active California RN license
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery/Post-Partum nursing experience
Recent experience in maternal and newborn health
Experience with C-sections
Experience in a community-based acute care hospital
Required Certifications
AHA BLS
ACLS
PALS
NRP
Fetal Heart Monitoring (AFHM)
NIHSS
MAB or CPI
LA City Fire Card & Life Safety Card
Additional Requirements
COVID vaccination and booster, if eligible, required.
Completion of employee health clearance before the assignment start date.

Scrubs: Any color; navy blue or black preferred
PPE: Provided
Parking: Available onsite
Pay Cycle: Sunday–Saturday
