Job Description

Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois.

Role: Registered Nurse – Postpartum / Mother-Baby

 

Schedule & Floating

  • Shift: 12-hour nights with self-scheduling options in 6-week blocks.
  • Rotation: Every 3rd weekend (Friday/Saturday) and every other holiday.
  • On-Call: None required.
  • Floating: Occasional support floating within Women’s Services (L&D recovery assist, Antepartum).

Requirements

  • Active Illinois RN license (or proof of application).
  • Current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications.
  • Experience with postpartum assessments, basic newborn care, and EPIC charting.
  • Preferred: ACLS, lactation experience, or Level 2 Nursery background
