Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing job in Johnson City, New York.

Schedule & Unit Requirements:

• 36 hours per week.
• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Required to work every other weekend and holiday.
• Must be willing to float to Labor & Delivery as needed.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (required).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active New York State RN License (required).
• Current BLS certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross) (required).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (required).
• Additional unit-specific certifications must be validated per the Compliance Matrix before submission.
• Professional nursing specialty certification and relevant certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC are preferred, if applicable.

Required Clinical Experience & Skills:

• Experience in Postpartum/Mother-Baby (Couplet Care).
• Comfortable providing routine care for both mother and newborn.
• Experience with parent education and newborn care.
• Ability to recognize and respond to postpartum hemorrhage and other maternal emergencies.
• Experience performing vaginal exams.
• Willing to support Labor & Delivery with patient recovery, early newborn care, documentation, and code situations.
• Willing to assist the NICU with grower/feeder infant support.
• Unit-specific certifications such as RN-MNN, CLC, or IBCLC are preferred but not required.
