Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Post Partum- Provide patient care for post-partum, LDRP, well baby nursery, and recoveries
- Attend births, caring for both the mother and baby
- Offer discharge education and assessment
- Manage time and prioritize patient care needs
- Assess and identify risk factors for sepsis, VTE/DVT, and other conditions
- Use of AIDET and BSSR communication tools
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Post Partum- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Experience with unit workflows, processes, policies, and procedures
