Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse I (RN I) – New Mexico

Schedule: Full-time hospital nursing role with potential to float to other departments as needed with appropriate orientation and training

Deliver patient- and family-centered care across the full nursing process in a collaborative hospital environment
Work with an interdisciplinary team to provide compassionate, culturally competent care across the lifespan

Direct and supervise ancillary team members including LPNs and nursing assistants
Specialized opportunity available in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) for qualified candidates
Requirements:
Current New Mexico RN license or active Multi-State Compact (eNLC) license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to deliver compassionate care to patients of all ages, from pediatric through geriatric populations
Physical ability to lift, position, and transfer patients using proper body mechanics and assistive equipment
For LDRP positions: Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required; OPS Emergency Workshop and STABLE certification required within 12 months; SAFER NM Technician certification preferred
