Job Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse I (RN I) – New Mexico

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Grants, New Mexico

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time hospital nursing role with potential to float to other departments as needed with appropriate orientation and training

Requirements:

  • Current New Mexico RN license or active Multi-State Compact (eNLC) license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to deliver compassionate care to patients of all ages, from pediatric through geriatric populations
  • Physical ability to lift, position, and transfer patients using proper body mechanics and assistive equipment
  • For LDRP positions: Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required; OPS Emergency Workshop and STABLE certification required within 12 months; SAFER NM Technician certification preferred
