Job Title: Nurse Manager II Profession: Client Child Health (MCH) Specialty: Post Partum (PP) - Critical Need Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Experience: 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience in a relevant nursing field. Minimum three (3) years of postpartum experience preferred. Minimum three (3) years of labor and delivery experience preferred. Minimum one (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience preferred. License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: Basic Life Support Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring. Demonstrated IV skills and ability to perform lab draws. Demonstrated knowledge of high-risk medication administration. Demonstrated ability to perform Urine Point of Care testing. Demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing. Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac monitoring for adults. Demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors. Demonstrated ability to perform heel sticks and venipuncture on newborns. Demonstrated knowledge of newborn medications. Demonstrated knowledge of bili-blankets and lights. Demonstrated knowledge of radiant warmers. Demonstrated knowledge to support teaching related to maternal-newborn care. Description: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Demonstrated ability to perform various nursing tasks essential for patient care. Ability to support maternal-newborn teaching and perform necessary interventions. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. A commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care while adhering to safety protocols. Ability to work a 12-hour shift, including nights. Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment. An understanding of current best practices in maternal child health.
