Travel Nurse RN - Postpartum - $2,940 per week in Santa Rosa, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Client Child Health (MCH) Specialty: Post Partum (PP) Duration: 12 months Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM Experience: Minimum one year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last three years License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: Ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring Description: Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required. Demonstrated IV skills and ability to perform lab draws are essential. Demonstrated knowledge of high-risk medication administration including Magnesium, Oxytocin, and Insulin is needed. Demonstrated ability to perform Urine Point of Care testing is required. Demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing must be exhibited. Demonstrated knowledge of IStat is essential. Demonstrated ability to perform Adult Cardiac monitoring is necessary. Demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring is required. Demonstrated ability to perform heel sticks and venipuncture on newborns is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of newborn medication including ability to perform IV administration and maintenance must be exhibited. Demonstrated knowledge of Bili-blankets and lights is needed. Demonstrated knowledge of radiant warmers is necessary. Demonstrated knowledge to support gyn teaching and post-operative bladder training is required. Demonstrated knowledge to support maternal-newborn teaching must be exhibited. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred. Minimum three years of labor and delivery experience is beneficial. Minimum three years of postpartum experience is desired. Minimum one year of medical/surgical nursing experience is preferred.
