Experience:
- 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years
License:
- Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Must-Have:
- Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring
- Demonstrated IV skills and ability to perform lab draws
- Demonstrated knowledge of high-risk medication administration
- Demonstrated ability to perform urine point of care testing
- Demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing
- Demonstrated knowledge of IStat
- Demonstrated ability to perform adult cardiac monitoring
- Demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring
- Demonstrated ability to perform heel sticks and venipuncture on newborns
- Demonstrated knowledge of newborn medication including IV administration and maintenance
- Demonstrated knowledge of bili-blankets and lights
- Demonstrated knowledge of radiant warmers
- Demonstrated knowledge to support gynecological teaching and post-operative bladder training
- Demonstrated knowledge to support maternal-newborn teaching
Description:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Post Partum specialty.
Candidate must have at least one year of recent experience.
Experience in labor and delivery and postpartum care is preferred.
The role requires a comprehensive understanding of nursing practices related to maternal and newborn health.
Strong skills in IV administration, medication management, and monitoring are essential.
