First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

#PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:
 

  • Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current surgery, pre or post op, same day surgery, or PACU / post anesthesia care experience [required]
  • Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (surgery, pre or post op, same day surgery) – [required]
  • Nursys must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission – [required] [document]
  • Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
  • Driver’s License [document] [required]
  • AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS - basic life support – [required]

    Certification Requirements
  • BLS (AHA)
  • State License Requirements
  • Iowa
  • Compact Allowed

    PRIMARILY post op / Phase II recovery, with some pre op responsibilities as needed

     
  • minimum of 12 months pre / post op OR same day surgery experience [required]
  • Outpatient surgery experience (pre op / Phase II RN) [nice to have]
  • NO 1st time travelers, must have at least '1' travel contract in pre/post op, SDS or PACU within the previous 15 mos [required]
  • EPIC emr experience [required]
  • current/recent pediatric care experience [required]
