Job Summary: Preoperative Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing preoperative patient care, preparing patients for surgery, and ensuring safety and comfort throughout the preoperative process. Job Details:
Shift: Variable hours, with start times between 5:30 AM and 8:00 AM; shift end times between 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM.
Schedule: Variable day shifts from Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); at least 0 years of experience in preoperative nursing.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pre-op care within acute hospital environments; proficiency with Epic charting system.
Additional Information: The role involves preparing patients for various surgical procedures, managing preoperative medications, ensuring adherence to protocols, and coordinating with surgical teams. The assignment duration is from 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week. Submission of all required certifications and licensure is necessary prior to assignment.
