Preoperative Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Los Angeles. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients preparing for surgical procedures, ensuring safety and comfort. The position requires supervising and coordinating patient care activities related to preoperative processes, working within established standards of care and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Job Details:
- Shift: Rotating shift schedule including 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, Acute care facility experience preferred, Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required, Facility-specific Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Essential Functions: Collect and analyze patient data relevant to health status, develop and implement care plans, promote a safe environment, collaborate with the care team, and participate in discharge planning. Delegate tasks and coordinate duties among healthcare team members while ensuring patient safety and quality care.
- Schedule: Rotating shift hours, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026.
- Additional Information: Spanish speaking ability is a plus. The position involves providing education to patients and families, coordinating care, and ensuring compliance with facility protocols.
