Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: This position is for a Medical Progressive Care Unit with a mixture of patients. The unit has 12 beds and operates with a nursing staff model that includes a charge nurse and several RNs and patient care technicians during shifts. The ideal staffing on a night shift, when the unit is full, is one charge nurse, three registered nurses, and one to two patient care technicians. Patient ratios are typically 4:1. The unit utilizes an electronic medical record system for documentation. There are no on-call requirements or floating necessary in this role. Candidates with experience in travel nursing or similar patient care environments are highly recruited.
