Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of PCU or ICU experience License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, BSN preferred Must-Have: PCU or ICU experience Description: Unit specifics include a total of 18 beds. The patient ratio is 4:1. This unit specializes in progressive care. The type of equipment used will be discussed during the interview. The documentation system in use is Meditech. Scheduling will require three 12-hour shifts per week. Floating policies will be discussed during the interview. Hourly safety rounding and bedside shift reports are required for patient experience. The dress code requires clean and healthy nails, avoiding artificial nails and gels. Hair must be neat, clean, and styled appropriately. Facial hair should be well-groomed and trimmed. Hair should be pulled back if shoulder length or longer. Body tattoos should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited. Attendance policies will adhere to company-wide standards.
