# Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** September 21, 2026 **Location:** Denton, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; Patient ratio typically 4:1, may flex to 5:1 based on unit needsHighlights:

• 25-bed Progressive Care Unit located on a dedicated floor within main hospital
• Complex patient population including stroke patients, cardiac drips, continuous BiPAP, and post-procedure care
• Modern telemetry and bedside monitoring equipment including BiPAP, Airvo, and seizure precaution capabilities
• EMR system: Meditech
• Collaborative team environment with experienced charge nurses and support staff including patient care technicians
• Travel RN position with professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• Current Texas RN license or ability to obtain
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification – required
• Progressive care or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• Preceptor or charge nurse experience is a plus
