The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3-4. Responsibilities include caring for patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain. Experience with cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors is required. The nurse may also be assigned to telemetry beds in the same unit with lower acuity levels. Familiarity with EPIC EMR is necessary. Minimal requests for time off will be accommodated.
