Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $1,861 per week in Cartersville, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required. License: GA or Compact nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred. - Patient ratios: 4-5. - Preferred experience in community hospital and trauma level I or II. - Strong skills in telemetry, managing ports, and IV protocols. Description: This position requires working every other weekend. The schedule must be flexible to accommodate facility scheduling. No schedule requests can be made or approved. There is no call requirement for this position. Floating may be required within the facility and scope of practice as needed. Travelers are expected to work major holidays. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler must work both holidays. If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them. Full compliance is required to start on time. If compliance is not met, start may be delayed by two weeks. All orientation and compliance documents must be completed in a timely manner. Daily census for the unit is approximately 28 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. This position involves caring for adults and geriatric patients. The facility has beds available for patient care.
